Day - 01 - Bangalore
Arrive in Bangalore today in the early morning. Our representative will take you to the hotel Leela Palace. You have to check in at the Leela Hotel at 12:30 pm. Then have lunch at the theme restaurants of Hotel Leela, Jamawar or Citrus. After lunch, you will set out a guided tour in Bangalore which covers sightseeing of Tippu’s Palace, Bull Temple & Lalbagh Garden.
At 8 o’ clock in the evening you will be taken to the Yeshwanthpur Railway Station, Platform No. 6. The staff of the train will welcome you in traditional style. After dinner, relax. Golden Chariot Train will depart to Mysore around 9 pm and will arrive at Mysore at 11.30 pm. Stay overnight.

Day - 02 - Kabini
10:00AM : Post breakfast, Golden Chariot will depart for Kabini / Bandipur. Both are wildlife destinations in Karnataka. Kabini houses the Nagarhole National Park while Bandipur houses the Bandipur National Park. The parks were once the hunting lodge of the Mysore maharajas.
1 pm : Reach the Jungle lodge and have lunch at the lodge. Post lunch, a jungle safari at the park. Boat safari also. Then return to the lodge and enjoy your evening. Enjoy wildlife film and bonfire dinner. Overnight at the jungle lodge.
Alternate Itinerary for the same day :
If some guests of the train do not like to visit Kabini or Bandipur, then they can opt for another tour. This alternate tour includes :

Day - 03 - Mysore
The chirping of the birds will give you a wake up call in the morning. Have breakfast at the jungle lodge. Post breakfast you will be taken back to Mysore. Reaching Golden Chariot train take rest. Have lunch at the restaurant of the train.
After lunch you will leave for a Mysore sightseeing tour. First you will visit the Mysore Palace built in Indo-Saracenic style with domes, turrets, arches and colonnades. During the Dasara festival in the month of October, the magnificent jewel -studded golden throne is displayed for public viewing. Next the entire group will visit Srirangapatnam, the island fortress of the legendary warrior king Tipu Sultan which houses emperor~s mosque.
Then the next destination is the Bridavan Garden known for its symmetric design. It is a laid out terrace garden located adjacent to the Krishnaraja Sagar Dam site. Dinner at hotel KRS. Return to the Golden Chariot and have a sound sleep.

Day - 04 - Hassan
You will explore the three world famous heritage sites of Hassan district today. First you will visit the Shravanabelagola Jain pilgrimage centre which houses the largest monolithic statue of Asia, Lord Gomateswara on a hill. You have to climb 700 steps to explore the architectural marvel of the statue. Those of who does not want to climb are advised to stay back on board. Golden Chariot palanquins are available for those who could not climb themselves. (No extra cost for palanquins)
After lunch guests will depart for sightseeing in Belur and Halebid. Both are heritage destinations which houses the architectural marvels of Hoysala kingdoms. The main attraction of Belur is the Chennakesava Temple while Halebid is visited for its Hoysaleswara Temple.

Day - 05 - Hospet
On the 5th day itinerary of Golden Chariot Tour you will arrive in Hospet. You will explore the medieval village Hampi which was once the capital of the largest and glorious Hindu kingdom Vijayanagar. The Mughals invaded Hampi and plundered the architectural marvels of Hampi village. Day - 06 - Badami
The sightseeing attractions of the day cover sightseeing in Badami and Pattadakal. Badami is a World Heritage Site. The 18 armed sculpture Nataraja striking 81 dance poses will wonder one at first sight. Located on the banks of the Malaprabha River Pattadakal houses temples built by the Chalukyan Kings. It was once a ceremonial centre where the kings were crowned.

Day - 07 - Goa
The whole day is devoted for sightseeing and beach safari in Goa. Goa, the beach hub of India is the smallest state of India located on the west coast of India. Goa has been liberated from the Portuguese in 1961. Still a vibrant Portuguese culture is seen in Goa. The churches are located in Old Goa. Today you will visit Portuguese house, Goa beach resort. Experience a spa massage. Sneak into a casino. Have fun in Goa.
